Wow, two posts in one day?

You know I wouldn’t do this for nuthin’.  In fact, I heartily endorse this product or service:

Celebrate the Eleventh Annual Asian American Literary Awards!

Since 1998, The Asian American Writers’ Workshop has presented the Annual Asian American Literary Awards, the premier honor for Asian American writers in the country. This year, the Workshop will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of M. Butterfly by reuniting actor B.D. Wong and playwright David Henry Hwang, who we will honor with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Our special guests will discuss their work with Oskar Eustis, the Artistic Director of The Public Theater.

Fiction Award Winner — Mohsin Hamid, The Reluctant Fundamentalist (Harcourt)
Nonfiction Award Winner — Vijay Prashad, The Darker Nations (New Press)
Poetry Award Winner — Sun Yung Shin, Skirt Full of Black (Coffee House Press)
